Board Approved LPC- Supervisor for Texas LPC- Associates seeking LPC licensure

Jenn Popovich has been a clinician for 18+ years, in all levels of care, and in private and public sectors. She has been a board approved supervisor since 2015. Supervision is priced at $300/ monthly, and includes 4 hours of supervision in group and individual settings per month. Supervision is from a Narrative Model/ Lens, and is heavily tied to the S.T.O.R.Y.™ Model of Hiatus Wellness.

What do all those letters mean? Her licenses and certifications are SAP- Substance Abuse Professional, CDWF- Certified Daring Way Facilitator, TCYM- Trauma Conscious Yoga Method- Level 2, RYT- Registered Yoga Teacher 200 hour, and EMDR CIT- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Consultant in Training.

 

EMDRIA Approved EMDR CIT - Providing Consultation Towards EMDR Certification

Jenn was EMDR trained in 2013, and became certified in 2019. She has been an EMDR Consultant in Training since 2023. She is trained in EMDR- IGTP for using EMDR in group settings, and the DeTUR protocol for working with addiction and dysfunctional behaviors.

Consultation can be offered in person in San Marcos, TX or virtually to clinicians anywhere in the U.S. (EMDR Consultation cannot be used to count towards any other supervision or training requirements.) A CIT can provide a maximum of 15 hours of consultation, and the remaining 5 hours must be obtained with an EMDR Consultant.

 

40 Hour CEU Course for becoming a Texas Board Approved LPC Supervisor

This course meets all requirements for LPC’s in Texas to become board approved supervisors. You must have been an LPC for 5 years to apply for supervisor status, but can take a supervisor course at 3 years post independent license. Your license number will be required to confirm your eligibility. This course offers original content created by Jenn Popovich, LPCS. This course covers concepts necessary for supervising counselor associates seeking independent licensure in Texas, with a focus on Narrative Theory based supervision.

6 Hour CEU Refresher Course for Texas LPC Supervisors

This course meets all requirements for LPC- Supervisors in Texas to renew their supervisor license. You must already be an LPC- Supervisor to take this course.. Your license number will be required to confirm your eligibility. This course offers original content created by Jenn Popovich, LPCS. This course offers an introduction to Narrative Theory based supervision concepts. The 6 hours of CEU’s includes supervisor focused Ethics- 3 hours.

PRIVATE/ COMMUNITY CEU EVENTS

Jenn can come to you! She has provided in-house trainings for staff only, or small community events that bring practitioners to your site. Having a speaker come to your site benefits your staff greatly, as they do not have to make a significant time or monetary investment to acquire CEU's. These events can also be used to market your site and attract practitioners to your location to earn CEU's, while also touring your facilities. Jenn is a historically approved CEU provider for Texas Boards of LMFT's, LPC's, and LCSW's. 

ONE- ON- ONE MENTORING, EDUCATION

Jenn can come to you or meet at neutral locations to provide tailored education and consultation on many topics, to include: starting a private practice, acquiring certifications, and case consultation.

PROGRAM EVALUATION, CREATION, AND AUDITING

As a former manager in agencies and treatment centers, Jenn can help you find gaps and help create solutions to a variety of issues. She also has experience in program creation, curriculum creation, family workshop creation and implementation long-term, and audit processes.
