Welcome to Hiatus Wellness. We are located in San Marcos, TX, and provide telehealth throughout the state of TX.
Our practice is comprised of 4 licensed counselors and offers multiple services to clients and other professionals. The common thread through everything we do is the saying, “The story always wins.™” The story you believe about yourself, what you deserve, and what you are capable of will run your life. We help you rewrite it.
OUR APPROACH
Our overall approach is an umbrella of wellness. We provide periodic retreats- spaces for rest and play, therapy- for regulating and processing, and yoga- for moving your body in mindful ways.
We also offer a model created by our founder, Jenn Popovich, LPCS, called S.T.O.R.Y.™ based narrative therapy- which we call “The Story Always Wins”. This work uses elements from thought leaders like Jeffery Young (schemas) and Brene' Brown (shame/ vulnerability/ worthiness). This can be helpful in building and changing perspectives, identifying patterns and stories we carry around, and working towards being more authentic.
